Sea Otter applique quilt pattern by Toni Whitney Design features a mother otter cradling her baby on her chest while floating in the water. Sea otters sleep while floating on their backs and often hold hands or wrap themselves in kelp to keep from drifting.
The pattern is designed for raw edge fusible applique, so I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet.
The pattern contains easy to follow instructions, a full size layout guide, and pattern pieces that are already reversed for applique. Included is a suggested color swatch strip to aid in fabric selection.
