The AKC describes the Siberian Husky as a thickly coated, compact sled dog of medium size and great endurance. These dogs were originally developed to work in packs, pulling light loads at moderate speeds over vast frozen expanses. Sibes are friendly, fastidious, dignified and are listed as the 12th most popular breed in the USA.
