Wildfire Designs Alaska Along the Shores Starfish Applique Quilt Pattern

Along the Shores Starfish quilt pattern features three critters on the waters edge with gently lapping waves. 

This wall hanging can be made individually or combined with the other two Along the Shores series of patterns to create a larger 37" x 28" combined wall hanging. The last photo shows the combined wall hanging using all three patterns. 

Wildfire Designs Alaska patterns are designed for fusible applique, so I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet. The pattern contains a layout guide, full size applique pattern pieces that are already reversed, and instructions. Although the instructions do not say this, I recommend that all the applique pieces should be sewn down to the quilt top after fusing using the stitch of your choice (straight stitch, zig-zag, buttonhole or satin stitch). All the original fabrics shown on the pattern cover are Hoffman Fabrics batiks.
